Behind the imposing stone building is the garden and it oozes tranquility. Here you can sit down and relax at the end of an active day walking or sightseeing. Part of the garden is the potager where Rommie grows her vegetables and is probably where, nine times out of ten, you will find her! In March when the ground begins to warm up in the spring sunshine Rommie is busy sowing and planting so that from May onwards her guests can savour the fruits of her (daily!) labours.
A short walk will take you to the lake located on the outskirts of the village. Take the opportunity to swim or to sunbath and admire the view of the village and the surrounding countryside.
